Volunteer in the Office
There’s always something to be done in the office—from data entry to stuffing envelopes—we have things that will give you a sense of accomplishment and help the Garden. Come on in—the staff is fun!
Calling all Eagle Scout & Gold Award Candidates!
Do you know a Boy Scout interested in becoming an Eagle Scout or a Girl Scout interested in achieving a Gold Award? The Pittsburgh Botanic Garden is looking for future Eagle Scouts and Gold Award recipients to help us make our community a better place.

Pittsburgh Home & Garden Show
We need volunteers to pass out information to spread the word about the region’s newest asset.
Friday, March 2 – Sunday, March 11
Site Work Days
Volunteers are needed at the Woodland Garden to remove invasive species, plant native trees and shrubs, and help build trails.
Saturday, March 31 – from 9:00 AM – noon
Saturday, April 14 – from 9:00 AM – noon
Saturday, April 28 – from 9:00 AM – noon
Botanic Garden Plant Sale & Celebration
We need volunteers to come by early or stay late to help with event setup and cleanup.
Saturday May, 12 – from 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM
Town & Country Garden Tour
Volunteers are needed to staff the gardens showcased during the tour.
Sunday, June 24 – from 9 AM – 5:00 PM
